    Trial of Thomas Haithcock (free man of color)

    September 19, 1831 –  Superior Court

     

    Thomas Haithcock a free man of color charged in the conspiracy to rebel & make insurrection was again set to the bar in custody of the jailor of this Court. The Court after hearing the testimony and from all the circumstances of the case are of opinion that the prisoner ought to be tried for the said offense at the next /Current/ Superior court to be held for this County and thereupon the prisoner was remanded to jail.
